IBIS finale conference in Newry

The IBIS finale took place in Newry on Friday and brought about the end of the monumental project. The £8m EU project witnessed 70 years worth of research delivered in 5 through various masters and PhD projects around marine and freshwater topics which effect Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Martin Hughes spoke at the two-day event outlining his PhD research an aims for the future.
